The ‘Science’ of Overcoming Anxiety - Part 2:

Published on 20 June 2025 at 13:31

🧠🛠️ How to ‘Rewire' Your Brain to help You become Calmer and have more Confidence;

Overcoming anxiety isn’t as simple as just ‘calming down’—it involves learning new ways to think, process, and respond when faced with anxiety triggers.

Here’s how with a little taster from our Breakthrough Formula Program:

1️⃣ Shifting from Fear Mode to Logic Mode

Next time a negative thought pops up, try pausing and flipping it..

When anxiety targets your thoughts, your brain is in survival mode and it focuses on worst-case scenarios.

🤔 'What if this goes wrong?' → ✨ 'But what if it goes right and better than expected?'

🤔 'I always mess things up.' → ✨ 'Everyone makes mistakes—but I will learn from it'"

The Fact is, the more you challenge Fear-Based Thinking, the Weaker anxiety becomes - Fact! 🧠💡

AND, then there’s this;

2️⃣ Train Your Brain, Don’t Avoid the Fear 💪
Avoidance feels safe short-term—but it reinforces anxiety long-term.

💡 A better move? Face small, manageable versions of your fear.

Example: Fear of Public Speaking 🎤 for a wedding, a business meeting or similar

✔️ Step 1: Talk to yourself in the mirror
✔️ Step 2: Record + watch yourself… have fun with it!

✔️ Step 3: Speak to a small, safe group and just go for it.

The more you practice, the more your brain learns:
“I can handle this.” 🔁🧠 That’s how fear fades—not by avoiding, but by retraining. ✅
